Environment

Conduct environmental impact assessments, regulatory permitting, environmental monitoring and compliance audits for industrial, infrastructure and development projects across Malaysia.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology or a related environmental discipline
• 2–5 years of experience in environmental consulting, environmental management or a related field
• Experience in environmental impact assessments, environmental permitting, compliance monitoring, environmental monitoring or related environmental studies is preferred
• Familiarity with Malaysian environmental regulations, Department of Environment (DOE) requirements and regulatory submission processes
• Strong technical report writing, analytical and communication skills
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct site investigations, environmental monitoring and field assessments
• Experience liaising with government agencies, clients and project stakeholders is an advantage
• Registered DOE EIA Consultant or other relevant professional certifications are an advantage but not mandatory
• Willingness to travel for site work and project assignments, where required
