AGV Group is pleased to participate as a Rose Gold Sponsor of the 11th IWA Conference on Odours and Air Emissions, taking place from 2 to 5 November 2026 at Sunway Putra Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Organised by EPG International Sdn Bhd under the International Water Association (IWA) banner, the conference will bring together researchers, regulators, policymakers, environmental professionals, industry practitioners and solution providers from Malaysia and internationally to exchange knowledge and perspectives on odour science and air emissions management.
The 2026 conference marks the first time Malaysia will host the international gathering, following previous editions held in Sydney, Singapore, Barcelona, Paris, Warsaw, Hangzhou, Bilbao and Hobart.
More than 200 delegates, 20 speakers and 20 scientific sessions are expected, providing a platform for technical knowledge exchange, policy dialogue and discussion on current and emerging issues in odour and air emissions management.
A Global Exchange on Odour and Air Emissions
The conference programme will cover areas including odour monitoring and modelling, assessment and control technologies, regulatory and policy development, environmental protection and approaches to managing odour and air emissions impacts. It will also provide opportunities to share technical knowledge, practical experience and approaches from different regions.
Hosting the conference in Malaysia provides an opportunity for local authorities and industries to engage directly with international specialists and strengthens access to knowledge and experience from across the global odour and air emissions community.

AGV Group joined Konsortium Bumi Consultants and Services Sdn. Bhd. (“KBCS”) in Kuching on 30 August 2026 to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary and formalise a new collaboration in sustainability consultancy.
As part of the event, KBCS signed four strategic Memoranda of Understanding (“MoUs”) covering oil and gas, energy, agriculture and sustainability consultancy. The agreements support KBCS’s plans to broaden its consultancy capabilities as it enters its next phase of growth.
One of the four MoUs was signed between KBCS and KBE-AGV ESG Consultancy (Sarawak) Sdn. Bhd. (“KBE-AGV”) to expand sustainability consultancy services in Sarawak. The partnership combines KBCS’s established presence and local experience with KBE-AGV’s expertise in sustainability solutions.
Representing KBE-AGV were Dato’ Alfred Adaikalaraj, Managing Director and Datin Dr. Vijayalakshmi Samuel, Director & Principal Consultant. During the event, they presented a commemorative plaque to Dato Ir. Janang Anak Bungsu, Founder & Managing Director of KBCS, in recognition of his leadership, dedication and commitment in shaping KBCS over the past two decades.
The MoU strengthens the partnership between KBCS and KBE-AGV and provides a platform to support businesses in Sarawak with their evolving sustainability needs.
